Kelly Schuler considers design a point of view and has been adding her refined aesthetic to homes for 25 years. Kelly’s sixth sense with design was honed early, watching her designer mother, and seeing how scale, color, and detail can deliver memorable impact. Layering interiors with both traditional and modern elements, she loves elevating spaces in unexpected ways to add personality and interest to a room.

Kelly's favorite space changes based on the house, she likes a sense of ease and comfort in a home. She’s drawn to libraries, dens, lounges, and family rooms. Really anywhere friends, family, and dogs can gather.

Megan, a native Delawarean, began her decorating career in 1997 and joined forces with Kelly in 2007. Growing up near the ocean, she loves nature and strives to create balanced, comfortable spaces. She likes nothing better than a good road trip with frequent stops for snacks and to do some vintage furniture hunting… not necessarily in that order.

What is Megan’s favorite space in a house?

Megan’s favorite space is typically a family room as she values comfort as much as beauty. She also strongly feels that a home should be reflective of its occupants.

Get to know Caroline

Caroline graduated from High Point University in North Carolina with her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Having worked in real estate and luxury remodeling, Caroline has a true passion for all things home and design. She enjoys being able to connect with her clients on a personal level as it allows her to create designs that truly reflect their individual style. Caroline lives in Old Town and enjoys overpriced workout classes, morning walks along the Potomac River and dinners with friends at her local favorite spots.

What is Caroline’s favorite space in a house?

Caroline’s favorite room to decorate is the living room as many clients underutilize this space due to a lack of functionality and purpose. Reimagining this room into an inviting, comfortable, and chic lounge gives clients a reason to actually use and enjoy the space with their family and friends.

Molly was born and raised in Alexandria and is a graduate of the University of Virginia. Molly is happiest at home with her three Border Terrier pups, but also loves spending time with friends and family - typically either at a concert or sharing a good meal.

Molly’s favorite space in a house is a well-organized mudroom. She likes that you can get creative with the design - whether it’s fun, funky, or formal – and that it gives every random bit and bob a specific place to live.

Jennifer, the only non-designer of the bunch, has lived in Alexandria for 30 years while raising three kids. Though an upper Midwestern girl at her core, Jennifer loves the mild weather, history, and geography of the DC area. As empty nesters, she and her husband like to spend weekends exploring all the region has to offer - sometimes on bike.

What is Jennifer's favorite space in a house?

Jennifer's favorite room in her house is the sunroom: bright and relaxing, it is always welcoming. She loves to see clients' houses be transformed - it gives her many ideas (much to her husband's chagrin)!
